Blue has been a Mission Service Corps Volunteer since 1985.
Unable to read, he left school in rebellion and rejection to be on his own. Motorcycles and drug activity consumed his life from age 16 to 21. He insisted on his own way with no regard for others, and verbally and mentally mistreated his mother who was a single parent, until he found her a victim of suicide. Pride and grief caused him to hide from all his feelings of loneliness and guilt and he turned to drugs and games of lies. A school bus was his home and he traveled, hiding behind a "tough guy" front, when in reality he was very lonely and afraid. A man witnessed to him and introduced him to his family at Christmas. This was the first Christmas he had spent with others in 12 years. One month later, he turned his lonely life over to
Jesus Christ.
Jesus turned it into a "Life Abundant."

Iris has been a Mission Service Corps volunteer since 1980. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She became very rebellious, ran away from home and became involved in drugs and all that garbage that accompanies it. She was arrested as a teenager on armed robbery charges and sentenced to eight years in the Texas Department of Corrections. She had to serve a longer time because of disciplinary responses with a bad attitude and rebellion. One and a half years after her release and more street involvement  and women's lib, a young man witnessed to her and she responded to Jesus Christ. She "knelt down a tramp and stood up a lady."

Books, Video, and Audio CDs of the Blue's testimonies are available in our online store.
